Maulana Nusrat Abbas Bukhari was born and raised in Lahore, where his early inclination toward religious learning was shaped by family and community. He pursued formal religious education, studying the traditional Hawza curriculum — encompassing Arabic, Fiqh, Usul, Tafseer, and Kalam — under respected scholars.
Over the years, he has become a recognised voice within the Shia community of Lahore and beyond, known for majalis that combine classical scholarship with language accessible to a modern audience — particularly the youth.
Began religious studies at a local madrassah, memorising portions of the Qur'an and studying foundational Arabic grammar and Fiqh.
Completed advanced studies in Fiqh, Usul-ul-Fiqh, Tafseer, and Kalam under senior ulema, receiving Ijazat to teach and deliver majalis.
Began delivering majalis in local imam bargahs across Lahore, gradually building a reputation for clarity and depth.
Now regularly invited to lead majalis across Pakistan and internationally, with a growing audience through recorded lectures.
Regular majalis addressing aqaid, akhlaq, and seerat of the Masumeen (A.S.), delivered across Lahore and beyond.
