Maulana Nusrat Abbas Bukhari

Maulana Nusrat Abbas Bukhari was born and raised in Lahore, where his early inclination toward religious learning was shaped by family and community. He pursued formal religious education, studying the traditional Hawza curriculum — encompassing Arabic, Fiqh, Usul, Tafseer, and Kalam — under respected scholars.

Over the years, he has become a recognised voice within the Shia community of Lahore and beyond, known for majalis that combine classical scholarship with language accessible to a modern audience — particularly the youth.

Early Years

Foundational Islamic Education, Lahore

Began religious studies at a local madrassah, memorising portions of the Qur'an and studying foundational Arabic grammar and Fiqh.
